The rising of the global temperature
2011 was the ninth warmest year since 1880. before that, 2010 was the warmest year on record. The difference in average temperature between 2010 and 2011 was 0.2 degrees farhenheit that is 0.5 degrees celsius. Global average surface temperatures have progressively risen since 1950, when the average temperature was little above 1 degrees fahrenheit or 0.5 celsius cooler than in 2011.
An advisory video announced by NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies and proves this warming trend in a global colored map. In this video red shows temperatures higher than the average during the season 1950 – 1981 while blue shows lower temperatures than that average. Temperatures may change with quite small rhythms from year to year, but, as this video shows, the global temperature increases from year to year.
